some lazy, college student's ramblings

sar·casm /ˈsɑrkæzəm/
–noun 1. harsh or bitter derision or irony
2. a sharply ironical taunt; sneering or cutting remark

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

sar·cas·tic /sɑrˈkæstɪk/
–adjective 1. of, pertaining to, or characterized by sarcasm
2. using or given to the use of sarcasm

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't know how I got to this point in my life but friends of mine joke that I'll die alone because of how sarcastic I am and how sarcastic my voice sounds even when I'm not trying to cut someone down. Regardless of how I ended up this way I now would like to toss some thoughts into the JoeUser community.

I would like to apologize ahead of time if I seem to not make sense it's likely due to my sarcastic nature, which just so happens to not translate well in written form.

Now I would like to ask if anyone here might happen to remember my old account name... Captain Cornbread. Only a few people who were here back then are likely here now but I thought I might try and catch up with those old friends once again.

You couldn't have possibly learned everything about me in those few paragraphs but I hope that eventually this journal could show who I am without myself ever telling you a biography directly. Until next post...

Costlow over and out!!

Haha! Back to the ol' JU.

I'll welcome you back...but there aren't many A-C students here anymore. Alex pops in once in awhile, Jeffers was sniffing around...but I've been the most active lately. Maybe we can reel them back in, eh?

Meh... I'm not interested in having them around just so we can have a lot of drama again. I'd rather it be the few of us that actually CHOOSE to be here.

Well, drama levels are way down this quarter.

I believe the college life has put an end to all that stuff.

I choose to be here if you don't mind. I'll be quiet, you'll hardly know I'm here. How have you been? My heart hurts sometimes when I think of you...I hope you are good.

Drama gone down, eh? Perhaps the high school drama is gone but there's plenty of college drama down here in CU. Well, there's atleast enough to get me frustrated pretty easily although that may not be much now that I don't have much of a tolerance for it.

SC~ I've got to admit that I don't know who you are but I've been alright since last time I was on here I guess.

We all know what drama is; chances are, the old has been replaced by new.

Mr. Costlow, how do you do?
on Oct 14, 2007
I'm doing quite well. How are you Alex? You know, I still haven't met Ashley... any chance of that happening around the Christmas or Thanksgiving break time?

You need to be as loud as possible, none of us have heard a thing from you for quite awhile.

Hey if it is give let me know as well.

November 21, 22, 23 Thanksgiving Holiday
December 10-14 Final Exams
January 16 Classes Begin

Right, so that's pretty much how my schedule looks for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'll definitely be home for both of those holidays if I can. Thanksgiving is a sure thing and Christmas I'll likely have to return to work some but I'll certainly be home some throughout the break.

I've got the same schedule as Costlow...although I'm not exactly sure when classes start in January-I think the 14, but I'm not sure on that.

We need to get together and have a monsterous snowball fight around that time.
on Oct 16, 2007
That sounds like a great idea. I'm there!

If it snows. Damned global warming.

God, when was the last time I even had a snowball fight? My childhood is gone...oh, nostalgia.

that's so sad!!!! you need to hang out with me more...I will never ever ever grow up!
on Oct 16, 2007
Never ever ever? Will, I would like to think you would grow mentally and spiritually but being as fun loving as a child is a definite good thing in my opinion. I'm getting made fun of all the time for talking about wanting to build snowmen already.

It's not that they're making fun of me for playing in something that's not here yet but wanting to play with snow in general.

Grown-ups are so boring...
